The person I admire is...

A PERSON I ADMIRE

The person that I admire is my  sister  Markayla            Josephine Tufuga.

• She loves to get me outside and play games even though I just want to sit inside and watch television.

• Markayla likes to make me happy by dancing to music and trying to sing even though there is no music playing.

• My sister Kayla  loves to make chatter boxes. We both try to make the prettiest one but Kayla’s one is always pretty because she uses rainbow colours.

• She loves to encourage me to eat my pumpkin because it’s disgusting. She says “Caisha eat your  pumpkin or else I will tell mum on you” then I said “Fine”.

• Whenever I cry Kayla would give me a big nice, caring, lovely, warm hug and a kiss.

Should lunchtime be longer?

Should lunchtime be longer?

I agree that lunchtime should be longer because we need more time to communicate with our friends or else, when it comes to other days you have no one to play with. And you will be alone for the whole lunchtime.

In my classroom we are focusing on being kind to everyone, and these are the values we use Tika/Pono/Aroha and our main focus is Atawhai.

We have Pompallier Disciples in our school we use Pompallier Disciples to take care of our little kids in the school, like if they are hurt or sad and have no friends, we go and help them and make their lunchtimes better.

Also if you have work you need to do  and your teacher won’t allow you to work inside, then it would be ok to do your work in a longer amount of lunchtime.

So in conclusion these are my three reasons why I agree that lunchtime should be longer

1. We need to communicate with each other.
2. We have Pompallier Disciples to look after little one’s.
3. If you have work to do.

Recycling should be   Compulsory

The animals in the sea have died because of us. If you guys don’t littre the animals will be safe but the point is we are making their homes miserable because all of the rubbish that we are dropping on the beach and on the roads. Why do we litter? We litter because  we are lazy, miserable and naughty just have to get it through our heads including me of course. How can we stop littering? We can stop by looking around where you are and look and see if there are any rubbish bins from where you are standing. If not then collect it up in a bag to dump when you get home that's why I agree recycling should be  compulsory.

Moment In Time

The Fantastic Moment

As we strolled into the movie theatre we were excited to watch the new movie Despicable Me 3. We got our tickets. We were so excited we felt like screaming. We ran up the stairs to our seats and sat down then 3mins later the movie theatre started to get packed. We went to go and grab some food while the others saved our seats and when we got out the door in the movie theatre there was a big line all the way down to the exit.

The line started to go down. We got the popcorn, lollies and drinks and we ran back upstairs. Our seats were taken by Eliza and Nikau. Aleezay and I had to sit on the ground and felt miserable because we hardly got to see the movie, but we still had fun.
